Scope and definitions
888fw provides two protective mechanisms for responsible gaming: Time-Out and Self-Exclusion. Time-Out is a temporary interruption of all gambling activity; Self-Exclusion is a longer cessation of access to all 888fw products. The rules below govern activation, duration and effects on deposits and withdrawals for both measures.
Time-Out
Time-Out enables a short break from playing. Once a Time-Out period is initiated, the user may not deposit, withdraw, play or access any 888fw products. The periods available for Time-Out are listed in the account profile under the Time-Out section. Revocation of a Time-Out can only occur after 24 hours from the initial request. Upon expiration, the account is automatically re-activated and gambling activity may resume.
Self-Exclusion
Self-Exclusion is intended for longer interruptions. To initiate, an electronic mail request to pause activity must be sent to the support team. The requested account will enter a first stage 24-hour cooling off period during which gambling activity is disabled. After the cooling off period has elapsed while the account remains closed, a customer support agent will inform the user of the available Self-Exclusion periods. The periods are pre-selected and cannot be varied. To proceed, a response by electronic mail is required. If no response is received within a further 24 hours, the account will be reopened and confirmed by electronic mail. During the Self-Exclusion period, deposits and withdrawals are prohibited for the full duration of the exclusion. Upon expiration, the account is automatically re-activated.
Financial protection and limits
During account setup or at any time, the user may impose financial, wagering or session-time limits in the My Account section. If the user exceeds any self-imposed limit, further actions relating to that limit will be restricted. Any request to revoke a limit or exclusion must be delivered in writing or by electronic notice to the Company. The Company will consider such requests but reserves the right to deny them in its absolute discretion. Reasonable steps will be taken to ensure adherence to Self-Exclusion and to prevent promotional material from reaching excluded customers. The Company is not responsible for activity conducted via additional accounts created with altered registration details or for promotional material inadvertently forwarded to the user. The user should seek urgent professional assistance if there is any attempt to continue gambling during the exclusion period.
Support tools and third party software
There are software tools available to assist with auto-exclusion, supplied by third party providers. 888fw makes no guarantee of uninterrupted operation of these tools and the user should comply with the accompanying instructions and any applicable law.
Children, risk and responsible gaming
Underage gambling is strictly forbidden. Gambling can be addictive; ongoing safe and responsible play is expected. 888fw reserves the right to amend Self-Exclusion terms in accordance with applicable law and internal policy, with appropriate notice.
